The Twin Cities Resident Council is an organization of resident physicians in the Minneapolis St Paul metropolis, whose aim is to improve the quality and safety of patient care. The council is composed of residents from all teaching hospitals in the Twin Cities including the University of Minnesota, Hennepin County Medical Center, Abbott Northwestern Hospital, HealthPartners Regions Hospital and the Veterans Administration. The concept of a Resident Council has the backing of the Metro Minnesota Council on Graduate Medical Education and the University of Minnesota Medical School.
